The inaugural Oakland Assembly will take place at a decisive moment for the region, following the July 1, 2026 review process of the USMCA/CUSMA/T-MEC Agreement. As Canada, the United States, and Mexico evaluate the future of North American trade cooperation, this first NATP Assembly will provide a timely space for dialogue among business organizations, governments, institutional representatives, diplomats, observers, and regional stakeholders.

Participants can expect a high-level institutional gathering focused on the future of North American trade, including discussions on regional competitiveness, investment attraction, workforce development, nearshoring, supply chains, innovation, energy, agriculture, tourism, entrepreneurship, and the opportunities that may arise from the next stage of the USMCA/CUSMA/T-MEC framework.

To attend the Oakland Assembly, your organization must be part of the North American Trade Parliament or have received an official invitation to participate.

The Oakland Assembly will combine formal parliamentary-style sessions, committee rooms, expert panels, business opportunity discussions, and networking spaces designed to connect institutions and companies across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

Been Held during the same period as the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 47th Annual Convention in Oakland, the NATP Assembly offers participants a unique opportunity to engage in North American trade discussions while connecting with one of the most important and diverse business networks in California. Participants who wish to remain in Oakland and attend additional CHCC Annual Convention activities may do so through separate CHCC registration (Option 2), subject to CHCC terms, pricing, and availability.
