CUSMEX

The Canada–U.S.–Mexico Trade Council (CUSMEX) is a trinational business organization committed to strengthening and expanding trade, economic collaboration, and investment among the three leading economies of North America.

Our Structure

The governing body of CUSMEX is composed of three boards of directors, one in each North American country.

The directors of each board are distributed across various provinces and states in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, ensuring diverse and balanced representation in the decision-making process.

Our Mission

The mission of the Council is to create strategic opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs in Canada, the United States, and Mexico through innovative initiatives, institutional cooperation, and specialized programs that strengthen trade, investment, competitiveness, and talent development throughout the region.

Expansion and Strategic Outlook

In 2023, CUSMEX expanded its regional presence with the opening of vice presidencies in California and Mexico City. In 2024, new vice presidencies were established in Paris, Madrid, India, and El Salvador, further strengthening trade links and talent mobility between North America, Europe, Asia, and Central America.

By the end of 2025, CUSMEX plans to have representation in twenty Mexican states, fifteen U.S. states, and six Canadian provinces. Looking ahead to 2028, the goal is to achieve presence in all 95 federated entities of North America, consolidating a high-impact network that functions as a strategic channel for trade promotion, product placement, and business intelligence.
