Originally established in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, since 2003, the former Canada-Mexico Chamber of Business, now the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Chamber of International Commerce (CUSMEX), fosters a constructive environment that enhances the business links between the three nations.
In 2023, CUSMEX expanded its presence in North America with the opening of offices in California and Mexico City. By the end of the year 2024, it is expected to have new offices in five different states in Mexico, fifteen different states in the U.S., and six provinces in Canada.
The mission of the Chamber is to create business relationships by implementing initiatives and programs that are based on socially and ethically responsible principles for the sustainable economic development of Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. With information obtained from private and government sectors, the Chamber develops a permanent action to improve the economic environment for companies, articulated under five main axis:
1. Channel Relationships
Act as a liaison between businesses, and business to local and international government levels.
2. Represent Private Sector Interests
3. Internationalization
Promoting the trade between Canada, U.S., and Mexico.
4. Information and Advice
About the economic structure of their market and their foreseeable development from a general point of view within their specific activity sector.
5. Promotion and Development of Canadian, U.S., and Mexican
Businesses
The Chamber promotes the economic development of businesses, anticipating their future equipment and workforce needs.
We extend our gratitude to the Canadian federal and provincial governments and the Mexican and U.S. federal and state governments for their leadership and support to our organization. Last but not least to our loyal partners and sponsors from the business community in the three countries.
