The
Canada-U.S.-Mexico Chamber of International Commerce - CUSMEX meets with the
Constitutional Governor of the State of Aguascalientes to strengthen
collaboration and promote economic development.
June
21, 2023. The Canada-U.S.-Mexico Chamber of International Commerce (CUSMEX)
continues to work to promote economic and trade cooperation between Canada, the
United States, and Mexico. On this
occasion, the International President of CUSMEX, Victor Rosales , held a
working meeting with the Constitutional Governor of Gobierno del Estado de
Aguascalientes , Tere Jimenez, at the Government Palace of Aguascalientes.
During
the meeting, the president of CUSMEX expressed his confidence that this
collaboration will allow the emergence of large-scale projects in various
sectors, such as labor, manufacturing, brand expansion, exports, investment,
and the student environment. These are
precisely the areas that CUSMEX promotes from its headquarters in Calgary,
Alberta, in Canada.
Both
the International President of CUSMEX and the Constitutional Governor of
Aguascalientes highlighted the competitive and comparative advantages of the
region. In particular, they highlighted
the skilled workforce of Aguascalientes, recognized worldwide for its
excellence, as well as its strategic geographical location that makes it a pole
of industrial development. Both
personalities agreed on the importance of establishing alliances that promote
economic growth in the region.
In line
with these objectives, it was agreed to carry out a work tour by the Government
of the State of Aguascalientes to the main headquarters of CUSMEX in Calgary,
Alberta, Canada. This visit will seek to
strengthen the collaboration ties between the State Government and CUSMEX, with
the aim of promoting investment attraction and stimulating the economic and
social development of the entity.
The
meeting between CUSMEX and the Constitutional Governor of Aguascalientes
represents a significant step towards the generation of business opportunities
and the promotion of bilateral cooperation in economic matters. Both parties hope that this meeting will be
the beginning of a fruitful and lasting relationship that benefits both
Aguascalientes and the members of CUSMEX.
